Dogs need to be at least 3 months old and weigh at least 5 pounds.

Cats need to be at least 3 months old and weigh at least 2 pounds.

We do not declaw cats at SAAF. We do, however, offer nail trims with every spay and neuter surgery.

Yes, payment is required to hold the appointment for your animal.
You can pay with cash, debit, or credit card over the phone, in person, or online while booking.

Yes, if you give us at least 48 hours' notice, we can reschedule or cancel an already-scheduled appointment for you.

Yes, if you call to cancel an appointment at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment, then we can cancel it and refund the surgery cost.

Female dogs must be under 80 pounds and male dogs must be under 100 pounds.
We can not operate on Great Danes or Dane mixes due to size, chest cavity, and breed specific surgical complications.

We do not offer vaccines in the clinic except for animals who are here for a spay or neuter appointment.
We do hold drive-through vaccine clinics throughout the year, follow our social media accounts for more details of when we have those scheduled

Dog check-in is 7:15 - 7:45 am and dog check-out is at 3:00pm on the same day
Cat check-in is 7:45 - 8:20 am and cat check-out is at 4:30pm on the same day

We offer community cat days two days a month where we spay and neuter feral cats.
Please call our office to schedule feral cat appointments over the phone

Feral cats are un-owned cats that are not able to be handled by humans.
They have to come in for their appointment in a live trap (10x10x30 size, no small mammal or squirrel traps)

While they are here for their surgery, they will also receive a rabies vaccination and an ear tip.
You can add one dose of topical flea/tick medication for $15 that we would apply while they are here for their surgery and/or a Feline Leukemia/FIV test for $25

Yes, owned cats need to be in a contained carrier from which they can not escape for their appointment

Yes, dogs must come to their appointment on a non-retractable leash.

Animals MUST remain in the car until after you have checked in and a staff member sends you to get them.
